Sue King

SueSue King teaches voice and guitar, also whole class music at key stages 1, 2 and 3. Her degree is in classical music, and she qualified as a teacher in 2003 (Primary music). She also holds a CT ABRSM for instrumental music teaching. Though a Primary music specialist Sue teaches all age groups from pre-school to adults.

In addition to her teaching career Sue is a working musician, performing solo and in bands as well as occasional guest appearances with choirs and music groups. She regularly tours abroad as a classical/folk crossover artist "Sue White", and has made several CDs. Sue is committed to the importance of music making in all aspects of her teaching, whether whole class, special educational needs or peripatetic work. She is currently working with an exciting and innovative new teaching project which fully addresses the Governments new “Music Manifesto” and it’s “Wider Opportunities” scheme, as well as studying for her Master’s degree in Music Education.
